Caz Cipa (she/her)

Caz is an Educational and Developmental Psychologist and registered teacher. Between 2009 and 2019 she worked as a Guidance Counsellor in schools across the Ipswich, Lockyer Valley and Logan regions, supporting students between 5 and 18 years of age.

Caz has completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science, Master of Psychology (Educational & Developmental) and Graduate Diploma of Learning & Teaching. Caz is also a board-approved supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia.

Caz is passionate about working with Autistic and ADHDer clients and enjoys bringing her love of animals into her work with children and young people. She is currently completing qualifications in Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy.

As a late-diagnosed Autistic, Caz also draws on her lived experience in her work with clients, bringing compassion and understanding to the highs and lows of neurodivergent life in a neurotypical world.

Her SPINs include David Bowie, Radiohead, horses, cats, squishy fidgets, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and all things Sopranos (the tv show…sometimes also the opera singers!).

Our Equine Therapy Partners

Our most recent additions to the Flourishing Families team, Princess and Stella joined us in December 2022.

Princess (left) is our palomino quarter horse mare. She is sweet natured and curious, and the best friend of anyone with a carrot or three.

Stella (right) is our chestnut off track thoroughbred mare. She is a beautiful, kind soul and the most chill thoroughbred you are likely to meet.

In February 2024, we welcomed Luna (bottom left) to our herd! Luna is a gorgeous Paint mare, who came to us thanks to the RSPCA. She is gentle and inquisitive.

We now offer equine-assisted therapy sessions at our beautiful property in Maryvale.
